I aim to disseminate my research findings within general linguistics and applied linguistics to academic peers, language practitioners, and the public sector via formal and informal scholarly platforms. Operating outside traditional institutional constraints allows me to bridge theoretical linguistic frameworks with agile, community-engaged scholarship, particularly in language maintenance, pedagogical innovation, and collaborative research.

Speaking Engagements and Symposia

• Present original research findings at national and international linguistics conferences, symposia, and institutional seminars.

• Serve as an invited guest lecturer on specialised domains within general and applied linguistics, adapting content to institutional curricula.

• Deliver accessible, research-driven presentations and public lectures at community centres and civic organisations to foster public understanding of linguistic science.

Collaborative Initiatives

• Collaborate directly with Māori language educators, researchers, and community stakeholders on initiatives targeting te reo Māori revitalisation, language acquisition, or grammatical descriptions.

• Partner with applied linguistics researchers and language teachers to develop, evaluate, or enhance language pedagogy and community-based research methodologies.

Scholarly Publication

• Submit empirical and theoretical manuscripts to high-impact, peer-reviewed journals in general and applied linguistics.

• Engage with academic presses and publishing organisations to contribute monographs, book chapters, or specialized linguistic reports.
